Initial CCW Course CA & 38+State Permit, Sun & Sun, Dec 15th (Day 1 OF 2) & 22nd (Day 2 OF 2), 9:00AM-5:00PM Each Day

Sunday Dec 15th (Day 1) & Sunday 22nd (Day 2), 9:00AM-5:00PM Each Day

This is the (2) Two day, (8) Eight hour each day, California CCW Initial Course.

Students must participate in the entire (16) Sixteen hour course to receive a certificate.

Multiple qualification attempts are allowed during and after the course on our indoor range.

It is designed for 2024 Initial CCW Permit Applicant, or those that have expired beyond Renewal Limits.

Items you will need to begin your course:

1) Photo Identification.

2) Your current or expired CCW Permit. 

3) Every firearm you wish to maintain or add to your Permit.

You may qualify with up to (5) Five handguns, agency permitting.

This course does not require additional fees for handgun qualifications.  

Course Procedures:

All handguns must be inspected by the instructor for make, model, serial number & safety.

Firearms are required to be cased in the classroom.

You are required to qualify on the range to complete this course. There will be multiple opportunities for this during and after your course.

*Model Description on your qualification form must be specific to your firearm. Please confirm on the slide or frame of your firearm(s). Generic “REV” or “SEMI” will no longer be accepted by CA DOJ.

Regulations as of January 2019, AB2103, require:

You must demonstrate shooting competency with every firearm you wish to maintain on your permit.

You will need a minimum of (20) Twenty cartridges per firearm to qualify during the class.

It is advised that you bring a sufficient amount to accomplish this goal.

If more is required, multiple qualification attempts are allowed.

Steel cased and/or armor piercing ammunition is not allowed on our range.

Ammunition is available for sale and use at the range.

The sale of ammunition at the range for range use does not require a background check.

Regulations as of January 1st, 2024 per Senate Bill 2 require: 

(16) Sixteen hours of training for a new permit, and (8) Eight hours for a permit renewal.

You will no longer be able to qualify with a gun that is not registered to you.

You are permitted to carry only a firearm registered to you, and joint ownership is not allowed.

(1) One hour of mental health training and resources is included in the curriculum.

Instructor coaching, with reflection, the course will involve note-taking and answering choice questions.

With the increased demand for our services a need for online reservations has developed. Our cancellation policy is meant to ensure that our classes are available for our loyal students. Your reservations are important as seating is limited for our courses.

Our policy is as follows: 

Payment must be received to reserve classes.

Course reservation tickets include a (50%) Fifty percent non-refundable deposit.

Cancellations prior to the day or start of the class will be given a (50%) Fifty percent refund of training fees, or a one time reschedule of training within one year.

Students who are absent from any portion of a class without notice will not be eligible for a refund. Reservations are limited for quality of instruction purposes. Absences take away from others having the possibility of receiving training in a timely fashion. We look forward to seeing you in class.
