Course Certificates and Qualification Forms are valid for (60) sixty days in Shasta and Tehama County to submit your application to the appropriate agency. Some agencies allow for longer windows of opportunity for submission.
This is the Renewal Course for Current CCW Permit Holders.
Firearms are required to be cased in the classroom. If you require time to evaluate new serial numbers to be added to your permit a location will be designated outside of the classroom. Please have your permit available to transfer information to qualification forms.
Regulations as of Jan 2019, AB2103, require you to shoot every firearm you want to keep on your permit. You will need a minimum of (20) twenty rounds per firearm to qualify during the class.
Steel cased and/or armor piercing ammo is not allowed on our range.
Ammunition is available for sale and use at the range. The sale of ammunition at the range for use at the range does not require a background check, as it does at all other retailers. If you have an unusual caliber, we recommend that you verify availability in advance to make sure we have it.
With the increased demand for our services a need for online reservations has developed. Our cancellation policy is meant to ensure that our classes are available for our loyal students. Your reservations are important as seating is limited for our courses. Our policy is as follows:
Payment must be received to reserve classes.
Course reservation tickets include a (50%) fifty percent non-refundable deposit.
Cancellations prior to the day or start of the class will be given a (50%) fifty percent refund of training fees, or a one-time reschedule of training within one year.
Students who are absent from any portion of a class without notice will not be eligible for a refund. Reservations are limited for quality of instruction purposes. Absences take away from others having the possibility of receiving training in a timely fashion. We look forward to seeing you in class. – Team Nice Shot
