DESCRIPTION:Payment may be made with any credit card below the PayPal Link.\nPayPal Accounts are not required. \n  \n*Handguns must be brought to the first session to begin your course as they must be inspected. \n  \nPlease read this entire post for specific course details:\nThis is The (2) Two Day\, (8) Eight Hour Sessions CCW Initial Course.\nStudents must participate for (16) Sixteen Hours total (including self-care breaks) to complete the course.\nMultiple qualification attempts are inclusive during this course\, I.e. Range Included Each Session.\nIt is designed for 2026 Initial CCW Permit Applicants\, or those that are temporarily expired.\nItems you will need to begin your course:\n1) Photo Identification.\n2) Bring Every Firearm for the first session that you wish to maintain or add to your Permit.\n*Handguns must be brought to the first session to begin your course as they must be inspected. \nYou may choose to fill out and bring the qualification form previous to class. The Instructor will facilitate the finding of firearm details\, documenting firearms\, and the forms will be available at the course. The primary serial number will be imprinted on the frame of your handgun(s).\nIf you have installed a grip\, light\, laser\, combination accessory\, or frame accessory that conceals the serial number of your firearm it will need to be removed for inspection. Please do this previous to your course\, you will reinstall it previous to the shooting portion of the course.\nYou may qualify with up to (5) Five Handguns\, agency permitting.\nYou are permitted to carry only firearms that are registered to you\, and joint ownership is not allowed.\nDetails for Spouse & Family\, and Other Transfers will be covered during the course.\nhttps://oag.ca.gov/firearms/online-reporting\nCourse Procedures:\nFirearms are required to be cased in the classroom.\nAll handguns must be inspected by the instructor for safety\, make\, model\, and serial number.\nThis course does not require additional fees for extra handgun qualifications\, targets\, or post range time.\nYou are required to qualify on the range to complete this course. There will be multiple opportunities for this during and after your course.\n*Forms:\n1) Manufacturer will still be the same as on your previous permit.\n(Colt\, Springfield\, Sig Sauer\, Glock)\n2) Caliber will be imprinted on your the exterior of your chamber or on the barrel of your firearm.\n3) Generic terms such as “REV” or “SEMI” are no longer acceptable model types.\nThe Model Description on your qualification form must be specific to your firearm.\n(P365\, 19\, 642\, 1911\, P85\, Shield)\n4) Serial Numbers are listed on your frame\, usually on the side\, underneath the accessory rail\, or in the crane of a revolver once the action is open.\nPlease confirm these details on the slide or frame of your firearm(s).\n>SHASTA QUAL FORM<\n>TEHAMA QUAL FORM<\nYou may choose to fill out the qualification form previous to class. The Instructor will facilitate the finding of firearm details\, documenting firearms\, and the forms will be available at the course.\n \nYou will need a minimum of (20) Twenty Cartridges per Firearm to qualify during the class.\nIt is advised that you bring a sufficient amount to accomplish this goal.\nIf more is required\, multiple qualification attempts are allowed.\nSteel cased and/or armor piercing ammunition is not allowed on our range.\nAmmunition is available for sale and use at the range.\nThe sale of ammunition at the range for on-site use does not require a background check.\n \nRegulations as of January 1st\, 2024 per Senate Bill 2 require:\n(16) Sixteen hours of coursework for a new permit\, and (8) Eight hours for a renewal permit.\nYou will no longer be able to qualify with a gun that is not registered to you.\nYou are permitted to carry only a firearm registered to you\, and joint ownership is not allowed.\n(1) One hour of mental health training is included.\nInstructor coaching\, with reflection\, will involve note taking and answering choice questions.\nWith the increased demand for our services a need for online reservations has developed. Our cancellation policy is meant to ensure that our classes are available for our loyal students. Your reservations are important as seating is limited for our courses.\nOur policy is as follows:\nPayment must be received to reserve classes.\nCourse reservation tickets include a (50%) Fifty Percent non-refundable deposit.\nCancellations prior to the day of the class\, 24 Hours previous notice please\, will be given a (50%) Fifty percent refund of training fees\, or a one time reschedule of training within one year.\nStudents who are absent from any portion of a class without notice will not be eligible for a refund. Reservations are limited for quality of instruction purposes. Absences take away from others having the possibility of receiving training in a timely fashion.
